I have some very exciting news! 🎙️🛩️
This morning – 30th April 2026 – I will be joining the wonderful PJ Coogan on Cork’s 96FM after 10am to talk about my book – Menopause Wingman: The Emotional Handbook for Men.
I cannot wait to bring this conversation to Cork – and to talk openly about something that affects so many couples but is so rarely discussed from the partner’s perspective.
What We Will Be Talking About
During our chat we will be exploring:
- Why partners of menopausal women have been largely forgotten in the conversation – until now
- How menopause affects relationships, intimacy and communication
- The moment a stranger’s words in a Zoom room changed everything – “If I’d had that book, my marriage might have survived”
- Why this book was written WITH men, BY men, FOR men
- Practical tips for partners who want to show up better for the woman they love
The Conversation Cork Needs
Did you know that 61% of women say menopause has damaged their relationship – and most couples don’t even realise that’s what’s happening?
That statistic stopped me in my tracks when I first came across it. And it’s exactly why Menopause Wingman exists. Because this isn’t just a women’s issue. It affects everyone who loves them.
Having the opportunity to share that message on Cork’s 96FM – reaching couples right across Cork and beyond – is truly one of the highlights of this whole journey so far.

Let’s Talk!
include in her book—and how you can contribute.
In this 90-minute transformative circle, we’ll explore how true self-love manifests through honouring your authentic voice. Through guided meditation, EFT tapping, visualization exercises, and supportive discussion, you’ll:

Special Place – Create a special place in your home where you can just be. Designate a comfy chair or a special cushion that you can sit on and breathe deeply. Let it be your “Relaxation Chair/Zen Cushion”. The rule is, when you are there, no-one is to disturb you. Like a naughty step for kids, when you go to the Zen Cushion, you are taking time out to be with yourself, to breathe and stop for a while. You can deal with requests later (but only after you have had some time for yourself). Your kids/partner can also use the chair/cushion too, when they need time to refocus or relax.
“Hi Michelle, Thank you, it went swimmingly! And the session was so relaxing thanks very much. A”
Mindfulness and meditation results can be seen best after a period of practice and time. Companies who actively engage in providing training programmes in the workplace have seen a significant reduction in workplace absenteeism, stress, as well as an improvement in a variety of health conditions. My mind wouldn’t stop. Instead of slowing down it became incredibly active, going 90-to-the-dozen! I’d have a shopping list of things come up in my mind, all sorts of random ridiculous thoughts. I would get so frustrated. The exact opposite of what I was attempting to achieve (sigh).
