Menopause Wingman Ireland AM: Michelle A. Hardwick
We have a confession and we have to share it!
This Thursday 2nd July at 8.15am, John and I will be live on Ireland AM, Virgin Media talking about my newly published book, Menopause Wingman
a practical handbook for men and partners in understanding and supporting the woman they love through menopause.
A Cobh man and a Welsh/Irish woman, live on national television.
We genuinely still can’t quite believe it.
Where It All Started
If you’ve been following this journey, you’ll know Menopause Wingman didn’t start as a plan or a business idea.
It started with one Zoom call and sixteen words from a stranger. A moment that planted the seed for everything that’s followed.
From that single conversation to a finished, published book, to a foreword from Loretta Dignam, to features in the Irish Examiner,
EchoLive, the Rhyl Journal and beyond and now, breakfast TV!
It still feels surreal to write that sentence.
Why This Matters
Menopause Wingman exists because there was a gap. Plenty of support exists for women going through menopause –
but very little for the men standing beside them, trying to work out how to help without making things worse.
This book is straight-talking, warm-hearted and full of real voices from men who’ve been exactly where you are.
If you’re a partner who’s ever thought “I don’t know what to do here” – this is for you.
More Support
Curious about more support beyond the book?
The Wingman Circle: a new weekly group for men, launches in September. We have two new online groups starting in September and
an in-person gathering too – click here for more details!

please share it with them. That’s exactly what this whole journey has been about:
one person passing something on to another.
To our wonderful Cobh friends, family and extended family, thank you for following along, for your support
and for setting your alarms a little early this Thursday!
With love and a few nerves,
