Self-love Practices: Meditation

Take time out for example:

– before you start your day,

– during your day (when you wait for the kettle to boil, or the traffic lights to change)

– at the end of your day

Take 3 deep belly breaths and calm your mind. Set an intention for your day/afternoon/evening. Focus on how you’d like it to be (not how you don’t want it to be)…

Breathe in and out deeply through your nose, close your eyes, place those racing thoughts/ideas off to one side for a moment (you can always come back to them), stop and simply be.

Meditation is a way to be more focused, relaxed, peaceful and clear. Be mindful (or aware) of your thoughts, feelings, energy and desires fluctuate during the day and come back to your center.
